First edition. A very nice copy of this illustrated guide. Original green paper covers, with black text. There has been some reinforcement to the spine and there is a shelf label*, but otherwise with only slight darkening. There is a frontis engraving to the two towers of the Cathedral, which is still a major landmark today. Two further engravings and a folding map. The engravings are in very good condition. The text pages are somewhat foxed, but still legible. Overall a decent copy. 18cm x 11.5cm. 330 pages illustrations, folded map.
