There are a lot of illustrations including some nice colour prints of paintings by Bryan de Grineau, . 219 pages Book in good condition, at least the text pages, however there is quite a lot of fading on the cover cloth and no jacket.

Pages 143-144 is a printed list to be filled in by the reader, Speedmen of the World How Now ---? A previous owner has headed the columns Name Record Date, only two entries have been made, minor tear to the edge of that particular page. Text presented in two columns. Fully illustrated throughout in black and white, interesting and exciting photographs showing the competitive nature of speed and those who have sought to be fastest. The tension and triumphs, the dangers and dedication. Well known speed successes and those who made the record books.
