International Correspondence Schools Ltd. , generally the binding is in superb condition considering its age and use, rubbed to extremities corners a little bumped but generally clean and tight, dedication written in ink very neatly on thefront endpaper, 'To Vernon, With best wishes for Xmas & 1938 from Auntie Doris. 'the fronispiece is a head and shoulders portrait of Capt G E T Eyston, on the title page he is referred to as The World Famous Racing Motorist. The date of publication is on the reverse side of the title page, 'First Published 1936.' There are 144 pages, looking clean and fully readable. Pages 143-144 is a printed list to be filled in by the reader, Speedmen of the World How Now ---? A previous owner has headed the columns Name Record Date, only two entries have been made, minor tear to the edge of that particular page. Text presented in two columns. Fully illustrated throughout in black and white, interesting and exciting photographs showing the competitive nature of speed and those who have sought to be fastest. The tension and triumphs, the dangers and dedication. Well known speed successes and those who made the record books.
