Hinge cracked at front with gutter exposed between FFEP - FEP. Two leaves partially detached (p.7-8 & p.9-10). Plate between pp. 50-51 partially detached. Former owners' signature to FEP with date (1888). "Land Surveyor" written in pencil below author's name on dedications page. Pencil annotations in margin at foot of page 118. Foxing to preliminaries (upto p. 5) then mostly clean until p. 143. Mild foxing to page edges between pp. 143-161. Mild fraying of cloth at foot of spine. Tiny strip of cloth missing at crown of spine with minimal fraying. Binding canted a little to the right. Small tears to first and end map in margin (printed area not affected). Addition information and annotations (pertinent to the map) drawn and written on the map at front of book. Overall, G+.
