The exhibition ran first in Kingston - February to April 1982. Friedrich Wilhelm Brandtner immigrated to Canada from Danzig Germany in 1928 as a 32 year old. He came first to Winnipeg and later Montreal. This is his art biography. One fold-out page. Chronology at back. Cond : Paper wrapper is black with white lettering. End-papers are yellow. Front cover piece looks like his 1947 work but is UNattribited. Volume is bright, and square with minor edge wear. No names nor marks. Collectible .! Excellent Canadian art reference !!
