Condition: Good. - Small quarto [6-5/8 inches high by 5 inches wide], soft covers bound in pictorial cream wraps with a caricature by Daumier in tan & black on the front wrap. The wraps are darkened around the edges & lightly soiled, chipped & foxed. 32 pages. Illustrated in black & white with a title vignette, textual illustrations, head- & tail-pieces & 4 plates, including a frontispiece. The page edges are darkened & there is occasional light staining & foxing. Good. This issue records a banquet given in honor of the Society's president, J.-L. Forain, who was receiving "l'Epee de Membre de l'Institut". The text is in French.Scarce.
