Il fulcro del nuovo progetto espositivo è stato realizzato da Floreani, per la prima volta in oltre 35 anni di attività, interamente su carta. Si tratta di una carta fatta a mano del tutto particolare, con inserti (ad immersione) di garza cannettata, che la trasformano in una sorta di carta-tessuto multistrato, di forte impatto emozionale. La stratificazione usuale dei materiali riporta ad uno dei motivi centrali del lavoro di Floreani, legato alla componente memoriale che, in questo progetto, viene declinata sia sul versante individuale che su quello storico. In alcune di queste opere su carta sono infatti inseriti alcuni reperti che rimandano all'esperienza bellica della Grande Guerra (il progetto ha ottenuto il patrocinio del Comitato Regionale Veneto per le Celebrazioni del Centenario della Grande Guerra).
