Patricio Pedro Escobal nació en Logroño en 1904 y murió exiliado en Nueva York en 2002. Fue ingeniero industrial de Logroño y jugador de fútbol en el Real Madrid, del que llegó a ser capitán en los años 20, participando en las olimpiadas de París en 1924. Lo hicieron prisionero en agosto de 1936 por su afiliación a I. LIBRO.
