Francis D. Doino SJ who had been placed in solitary confinement at Malaybalay Philippines as cited in the book. Based on my reading of the book, OKeeffe had a personal connection to those clergies who had served in the Philippines at this time. A sympathy letter from Terrace Cardinal Cooke Archbishop of New York to Fr. Doino Sister laid in. A special copy by all accounts.
