Contact seller5-star sellerCondition: Good. This is a manuscript assemblage circa 1960 of clips (1" square and larger). About half are one to a page, and the other half are several to a page. These are largely taken from German texts, with some apparently from German trading stamps. Because of the added thickness of the paste-ons, pagination is an estimate, say about 200 single-sided notebook pages in a pressboard binder with a hand-lettered backstrip. Some clips probably have come loose and are laid in, and some are loose because DuBois never glued them down. He was a noted military heraldry expert (he designed the flag for the District of Columbia), and this volume represents the nucleus of an idea he probably hoped to develop in his retirement but never completely finished.
