It lasted 32 issues (1976-1985.) This issue focuses on the idea of The Picture Story with photo-essays/articles on: the eviction of squatters in Islington by William Wise; the curing of bacon on a small farm with a lengthy interview with Daniel Meadows, the photographer; the history of the picture story by Paul Trevor; "British Troops on Irish Streets" by Philip Jones Griffiths; working on North Sea oil rigs by Don James; "My Boxing Day" by Richard Platt; "The Picture Story" by David Hurn.
