Estaba tan ocupado que ni había tenido tiempo de aullar a la luna, algo imprescindible en la vida de un lobo. En cuanto se despierta, Feroz se arregla y, hambriento, sale apresurado en busca de Caperucita. Pasa por la…casa de la abuela, de la madre y finalmente por la de los tres cerditos. Pero, no solo no da con ella, si no que lo increpan, le lanzan una jarra de agua y un ladrillo. Magullado, cojo y con hambre de lobo, se adentra en el bosque, donde por fin la encuentra. Con cautela, se acerca a ella, pero Caperucita se asusta y, al gritar, un cazador dispara a Feroz, que cae al suelo. En esta nueva colaboración con OQO editora, Margarita del Mazo, que confiesa haber escrito esta historia "para reconciliarse con los personajes del cuento", puesto que no le gustaba nada, y menos cuando su madre añadía la coletilla: "¡Eso le ocurrió a Caperucita por no obedecer a su mamá!", se centra en el personaje del lobo. Un lobo que, empecinado en encontrar a Caperucita, se topa con el menosprecio de todos los que se cruzan en su camino. Su mala fama injustificada, al menos en este cuento, lo persigue. Rápidamente, el lector se da cuenta de que las apariencias engañan y de que es aconsejable poner en duda las ideas preconcebidas ya que, a menudo, pueden inducirnos a pensar de forma equivocada. Es conveniente evolucionar con el devenir del tiempo, como argumenta la autora, que también cambió su punto de vista sobre el cuento original: "Esta forma de pensar cambió con la edad. Y ahora, me fascina este personaje. Me gustan todas las Caperucitas diferentes: las despiertas, las descaradas, las que saben engañar al malvado lobo. ". Atraída por la libertad que le brinda el texto, la ilustradora Leire Salaberria, en su tercera colaboración con OQO editora, nos ofrece una propuesta plástica pensada como si fuese un corto de animación, que nos permite seguir al protagonista a lo largo de la historia y participar de todo lo que le va sucediendo. Una paleta de acrílicos en tonos fríos hace alusión al mundo de Feroz, que contrasta con los colores más calidos, como los rojos y los fucsias, reservados para el de Caperucita. Los amarillos aportan "ese punto de locura donde todo es bastante surrealista", apunta la ilustradora, que afirma también haber disfrutado creando personajes con formas de planta y roca, que no aparecen en la narración escrita. Su particular punto de vista, nos muestra a un lobo más humano (vive en una casa, conduce, cocina, plancha. ), y a una Caperucita "más lobuna", no en vano su capucha tiene orejas. Texto e imagen, teñidos de humor, de suspense y de un punto de terror, parten de un cuento tradicional para alejarse de él y conducirnos a un desenlace dulce y abierto, con el que los jóvenes lectores disfrutarán de cada detalle de la historia. *** Nota: Los envíos a España peninsular, Baleares y Canarias se realizan a través de mensajería urgente.
