Now famous for its seminal scholarship, Histoire des Plantes des l'Europe. was written anonymously by Deville and so published in 1683, then was re-edited and re-published several times because of its importance. One of the rarest works on the subject you'll ever see, and in striking condition for its age. Hundred of pages with plant names, detailed descriptions, and a woodcut engraving of each. See scans.
