Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Good. Second Edition. Revised second edition. Carnival Books No. 917. Originally published by Venus Books in 1952. Light surface marking to the top corner of the front cover. Slight chipping to the top and bottom of the spine. Some discolouration to the bottom quarter of the rear cover also affecting the reverse. The book has been damp at some time and there are light stain marks towards the front of the book with the title page the worst affected - a diagonal tide mark from the top right hand corner down to the bottom left hand corner. Three inch crease to the top corner of page 89. Pages a little browned but otherwise clean and unmarked. Same cover art as for the Venus edition but reversed with the woman on the left and the man on the right whereas it was the other way around originally.
