These were written from my time as a lived experience NHS service user, of 29 Psychiatric Hospital inpatient admissions. You'll either cry with laughter, or smile despite your tears. There are many issues surrounding the emotional impact on the way society views the mentally afflicted, their treatment of, and the way certain behaviours from others may affect our own views towards ourselves. To let go of all we think we know.Compassion can become so freeing, and forgiveness can be a helpful way forward. Recovery is not just an ideal destination, but the process of the rationalising of empathy, where imbalanced (i.e. biased towards others, or yourself.).
