( Share of the Flint and Pere Marquette Railroad Company, issued 1. July 1882 / The Flint & Pere Marquette Railway Company wurde 1857 gegründet und startete mit der Bahn-Verbindung von East Saginaw (Firmensitz) nach Mt. Morris. Neben dem Personenverkehr wurden hauptsächlich Holz und Salz transportiert. 1874 kam die Strecke Monroe am Lake Erie nach Ludington am Lake Michigan hinzu und wurde später noch durch die Verbindung nach Port Huron, Bay City und ins Saginaw Valley vervollständigt. Durch einen Zusammenschluß mit weiteren Bahnen aus Michigan wurde 1899 daraus die Pere Marquette Railroad Company, 1917 die Pere Marquette Railway und ging 1947 in der Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad auf. Der Druck der filigran gestalteten Papiere stammt von der American Banknote Company in New York.
