Toned pages on interior and text block. Front and back hinges have been strengthened but are weak. It is an ex-library book with sleeve pasted to the front paste down and a stamp on the free end page. Some pages have crimped edges or small tears and the binding is loose. A telling story by Leo crane who was a Hopi Indian agent at the start of the 20th century. He recounts his 10 years of service with the Hopi Communities around Keams Canyon in Arizona. It is a great story of seeing Native cultures and rituals to his job to try and help these groups so that they could get food and other goods.
