Visse sicuramente a Vienna ed a Lyon, ed oltre al presente testo di diritto romano si deve a lui "Pegma, cum narrationibus philosophicis", trattato di emblematica, ispirato all'Alciati, pubblicato a Lione nel 1555 sempre per i tipi di Bonhomme, ed il poema "De Pace carmen", stampato nel 1559.
