Reliure plein cuir ancienne très abîmée, un peu gondolée, frottée, tachée, salie, rayée, mouillures, pliures, accrocs, manques, cuir décollé du carton par endroits, cuir fripé à d'autres endroits, dorures du dos effacées, mors partiellement fendus ou frottés, charnières fendues presque cassées (donc reliure pas loin d'être détachée du texte), le papier qui recouvre le revers des plats est décollé, un plat se replie mal. Papier un peu jauni, gondolé, des salissures, taches dont d'encre, rousseurs et mouillures parfois fortes, pliures, plusieurs feuillets détachés ou presque détachés, accrocs, galeries de vers avec perte de quelques lettres aisément recomposables, déchirures et manques de papier à plusieurs pages sans perte de texte hormis les dégâts faits par les galeries de vers précitées.
