Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. "In Two Handsome Volumes". Reprints of first edition. Both in very good plus black over red cloth boards, with red spine, half red vertical and half black vertical front and rear; black title field to rear with silver titles. The boards are both tight and flat, very clean; slight wear to spine ends. The end papers are coloured tan with white striped area to centre and white titles of author's name. The text block of both volumes are in very good plus condition and excellent for age, with tightly bound, even and unmarked pages. No dedications etc. Volume One has very good dust jacket; Volume Two is in fair condition. Both are tan and white with a sketch of Doyle to front and black titles. The jacket of Volume One is clean, with some very small open and closed tears to top and tail edges. Volume Two has open tears on all edges and pieces missing. Both jackets are unclipped and in protective plastic sleeves.
