La primera de ellas trata "De los Reloxes grandes y de sobremesa" y la segunda de "Los Reloxes de Faltriquera".Felipe Santiago y Pedro Charost, relojeros e ingenieros franceses domiciliados en Madrid, dirigieron un memorial y un discurso solici…tando permiso al Rey para establecer una fábrica de relojería en Madrid. Sin querer perjudicar al resto de los relojeros de la Corte y sin causar gastosal gobierno, ofrecían su talento para crear una escuela de formación y se comprometían a enseñar su arte a una docena de jóvenes con edades comprendidas entre los 12 y los 16 años, durante un período de siete años. Estos jóvenes aprenderían a fabricar péndolas, relojes y cajas. Carlos III aprobó finalmente el 28 de noviembre de 1771 las ordenanzas que a partir de ese momento debían observar los hermanos Charost para establecer su fábrica en Madrid.En buen estado.
