There is a neat inscription to the f.e.p.The unclipped dust wrapper has some mild edge wear but is still in fine condition. Charles E. Brown (20 January 1896 - 9 October 1982) was a commercial aviation photographer working for United Kingdom newspapers, the aviation industry and a freelance commercial photographer with official accreditation as a war correspondent. His very first photograph was published in 1911, a balloon landing in South London, and in time this would encourage Charles E Bro…wn to become a very successful and highly talented aviation photographer. Dustwrappers both have edge wear to their top edges in places, volume 1 also having small splits at the top corners and to rear spine seam at the head. Otherwise these are clean and sound copies in overall VG condition. A heavy book set weighing c2000g when suitably parcelled, thus exceeding the default weight of 1000g for the postage quotation, and invoking a request for the extra postage at cost at time of order ( or can be supplied on request ) if to be sent overseas or by UK 1st class post.
