With 13 b&w photos and illustrations in plates and text and a pedigree of persons on patents and leases, including frontispiece (two are folding, the pedigree and photo of a petititon to Charles II). History from the granting of the first patent for a lighthouse on Hunstanton cliff (at the mouth of the Wash in Norfolk) by Charles II, to the fourth by George III, and later history. A Very Good copy. Light marks to covers, gilt bright. Some foxing and light browning to closed fore-edges and leaves at ends, but still a nice copy.
