A set with the book plate in each of John Davies Enys of Botanical fame who emigrated to New Zealand but returned in 1891 and subsequently inherited the Enys estate and was twice president of the Royal Institute of Cornwall. The Trevelyan family home in Cornwall was near to St. Veep and they came to p…rominence in the War of The Roses and later in the English Civil War. There are library numbers on the spine and a Cornwall Record County Office stamp on the free end papers. Dark Green cloth boards with blind decoration and gilt title and decoration on spine. Boards vary in depth of colour. Good used, aged condition with bumps to corners and Part 111 has a 15mm.split at head of spine, Part I- 219pp., Part II- 139 (+Camden Soc. report), Part III - 348 pp.+ 2 pedigrees in rear. Sizes- 225mm. x 180mm. (8vo.). Overseas postage will necessitate additional charge for the three volumes.
