Of the 300 copies printed for private circulation, this is number 65, presented to Newcomb Carlton (president of the Western Union corporation), and signed on the presentation page by Ernest R. Graham. Graham was a co-founder of the firm, and had previously been a partner of Daniel H. Burnham. An important, sumptuously produced and scarce monograph.
