Riteniamo che i requisiti basilari per avere adesso una lingua comune per tutto il mondo, ricavabili dal fallimento di altri tentativi quali l'Esperanto, il Pantalingue e se vogliamo anche dell'inglese quale lingua officiosa occidentale, sono: deve essere una lingua facilissima, anzi deve essere la lingua piu facile del mondo, che manca nell'Esperanto e nel Pantalingua;deve essere assimilabile in 7 giorni e parlabile in meno di 14 giorni;non deve mortificare, abolire o disconoscere le altre lingue nazionali degli Stati occidentali, motivo del mancato riconoscimento dell'inglese come lingua internazionale ufficiale da parte dei tedeschi, italiani, francesi e spagnoli ecc.ma soprattutto, deve essere una lingua che ci riporti alle origini da cui sono scaturite tutte le altre lingue occidentali e quindi una lingua accettata da tutti gli Stati e da tutti i cittadini del mondo. Riguardo l'accettazione basterebbe chiedere a tutti i cittadini occidentali quale ipotetica lingua internazionale diversa dalla loro sceglierebbero come lingua sovranazionale per avere un plebiscito a favore del latino a patto che sia semplice e facile da imparare. Da quest'ultima caratteristica e nata l'idea della semplificazione del latino classico con adeguamenti alle lingue occidentali ma sufficiente per essere capiti anche da Giulio Cesare in un ipotetico discorso con questi, verificabile se provate a tradurre qualche frase in latino moderno su google traduttore. Il latino e sempre stata la lingua piu rispettata e amata nel mondo e quando in un discorso qualcuno introduce una citazione in latino ci rendiamo conto del fascino linguistico che esprime. Qualcuno potra obiettare che l'inglese sia ormai la lingua officiosa dell'occidente ma non sara mai una lingua collante di fraternita che riesce a dissipare le diffidenze tra i vari popoli. Peraltro sappiamo che oltre il 58% dei termini inglesi/americani hanno una derivazione dal latino e qualcuno restera sbalordito nel sapere che le parole: campus, exit, mix, tutor, sponsor, tax, fax, lux, bus, magnum, taxi, velox, yester, pen, have, is, cook, intelligent, german, english, letter, day (derivante da deis), man e woman che derivano dal latino human, (persino "word" deriva da "verbum" che nel latino antico repubblicano si pronunciava "werbum"), ecc. Per non parlare che il 80% del francese, dell'italiano e dello spagnolo sono di derivazione latina.Infatti, il latino e considerato la lingua piu colta dell'occidente anche perche Seneca, Galileo, Newton, Cartesio, Voltaire, Kant, Hegel, Hume, ecc. scrissero tutti in latino fino al 1700, cosi come Gesu e gli apostoli parlavano e scrivevano anche in latino. Ma soprattutto perche ogni Stato occidentale Europeo o americano sa e conosce bene le origini della sua civilta che riconducono tutte all'antica saggezza dell'impero romano, l'unica civilta universale sparsa in tre continenti unita in un'unica lingua. S. Agostino anche se nato in Numidia d'Africa, era e si sentiva cittadino romano e quando scrisse le Confessioni in latino, il suo libro poteva essere letto in contemporanea in tutto l'impero. Per tal motivo l'unico modo di creare una lingua europea comune e quella di estrapolarla dal latino stesso, essendo l'unica lingua potenzialmente accettabile da tutti gli Stati e da tutto il popolo europeo, perche fa parte del nostro bagaglio culturale e delle nostre radici, cosi come delineato anche nella direttiva n 77/486/CEE.
