The interior shows gentle age-toning, yet is still bright and clean, despite considerable pale spotting to the endpapers. The text has extra-wide margins. [Please see multiple images of the actual book.] As with every book from my father's collection, tipped in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage. Der Text, dessen Thesen bereits 1277 verboten wurden, lädt zu einer Grundlagenreflexion ein, die nicht zuletzt interessante Überschneidungen zu gegenwärtigen philosophischen Auseinandersetzungen mit kausalem Indeterminismus besitzt.Der Band enthält den lateinischen Text sowie eine deutsche Übersetzung des Traktats 'De necessitate et contingentia causarum' nebst Einleitung, Anmerkungen und Bibliografie; aufgenommen sind zudem die Zusätze Gottfrieds von Fontaines. 144 pp. Deutsch.
