Size 12mo, 186 pages including index, plus 14 pages of colour plates, plate 8 in colour bound at front as frontispiece. Half navy blue cloth on the spine section, half green hard cover, with gilt titles to the spine. Condition very good plus, corners and spine ends slightly rubbed, a few spots to end-papers else contents very clean throughout. Contains upwards of 500 fine engravings on 14 plates, 400 original engravings by Tuffen West and around 100 additional illustrations by the reviser E.C. Bousfield. The engravings are finely executed and in very clean condition.
