Soft cover. Condition: Good. pp1-207, plus 6 plates, salvaged from a damaged issue of the Boston Journal of Natural History, Volume VII, No. 1, 1859. Disbound, first and last pages are moderately soiled, internally VG with no foxing. Dr. Amos Binney, (1803-1847), was the author of TERRESTRIAL MOLLUSKS OF THE UNITED STATES, which appeared in two or three volumes. This is a continuation of that work by his son, who also published two volumes on the subject.
