Colonel Dumreicher served in the Egyptian Coast Guard's Camel Corps and is better known for his "Trackers and Smugglers in the Deserts of Egypt". This work, sponsored by the Royal Automobile Club of Egypt, describes the Libyan Desert (people, plants, crafts, agriculture, camels, hunting, fishing, archaeology, geology, tourism, routes etc) with proposals for its development.
