Darwin's entries begin on Monday, October 24, 1831 and end on November 7, 1837. The book includes an etching of young Charles Darwin on the frontise page, drawings of the Beagle, and fold-out maps of the voyage. Blue cloth-covered boards w/gilded titling on spine in remarkable condition w/minor wear; Strong binding; Text has circling and light marginalia in pencil on first 39 pages, otherwise clean; DJ is sunned and chipped on all edges, now in mylar cover.
