The primary idea did not come from one of the scientists working in this Institute, but from the second editor. Complete set, as issued, consisting of 9 sets of 16 plates each, showing a total of 80 apple varieties, 52 pear varieties and 12 plum varieties. The text was provided by R. Lijsten.
