It has been considered as the one of most important Vladimir Lenin's political theory on state and society, written in 1917 later translated into many languages.

This book was translated from German into Chinese and includes an introduction by Frederick Engels.

Beau portrait photographique, légendé au verso en français et en néerlandais, de Sylvain Kama, premier Président du Parti Solidaire Africain -PSA, en janvier 1959, et qui a cédé sa Présidence à Antoine Gizenga à la mi-1959. Délégué du PSA à la Table ronde politique (Bruxelles, janvier-février 1960), il est ensuite un des six membres de la Commission politique créée, suite à une décision prise à la Table ronde, auprès du ministre belge du Congo belge et du Ruanda-Urundi, et dans laquelle il est délégué par la Province de Léopoldville. Elu député national du PSA dans la province du Kwilu, en mai 1960, il est Commissaire d'Etat pour la province de Léopoldville du gouvernement Lumumba. Il est Ministre des transports et des Commissions dans le premier gouvernement Adoula (août 1961 - juillet 1962). Secrétaire Général aux Relations extérieures du Comité National de Libération - aile Gbenye, il est mandaté, avec Assumanie-Senghie, par Gbenye pour négocier à Madrid avec Tshombe, avec lequel il signe le 23 février 1964 un accord qui restera sans suite. Ministre des Finances du gouvernement révolutionnaire de la République du Congo formé à Stanleyville le 4 septembre 1964, il est abattu par les parachutistes belges à Stanleyville le 24 novembre 1964, lors de l'intervention belgo-américaine.
