Deborah Storie

Deborah Storie seeks to live and read in ways that build peace and promote ecological, social and economic justice. The privilege of living with and learning from a poor rural community in a conflict-affected region taught her to see dynamics of power and privilege to which she'd previously been oblivious. Now Adjunct Lecturer in New Testament with Whitley College/University of Divinity and Senior Pastor at East Doncaster Baptist Church on Wurundjeri Land, Deborah also enjoys a multifaceted association with Tearfund Australia. Once a veterinarian, she still relishes walking through the Victorian Alps.
