Annette Geiger

Annette Geiger is an author, educator, and lifelong storyteller who has been weaving poetry and tales since childhood. A world traveler, with a suitcase full of stories, Annette believes that magic can be found everywhere—from bustling cities to quiet backyards. Her experiences and love for storytelling have inspired her to write books that celebrate friendship, diversity, acceptance, and problem-solving.

She is the creator of The Zoo Crew Adventure Series. The first book in the series, Play Day: Emily’s Sticky Situation, introduces readers to the lovable Zoo Crew as they navigate exciting adventures, tackle challenges, and discover creative solutions—all with a big dose of fun. Exciting new adventures are already on the horizon! Henry the Horse will gallop into readers' hearts in summer 2025, followed by the third Zoo Crew adventure, City Safari, later in the year.

Annette is presently back in the U.S., enjoying life in Long Beach, California, with her two cats, Callie and Cooper. Through her writing, she hopes to open doors, inspire kindness, and encourage readers of all ages to take delightful detours on life’s journey.
