Anthony Clemons grew up in the rural Appalachian coalfields of southeastern West Virginia. He has worked as a curriculum development manager, college instructor, and as a freelance writer since 2007. His most recent book "Multicultural Andragogy for Transformative Learning", is an anthology that weaves together the interplay of multiculturalism, transformative learning, and adult education into a holistic ideology. He is currently a dual M.F.A/M.A. student at Goucher College, studying Nonfiction Writing and Cultural Sustainability. He is working on a narrative nonfiction book that investigates the challenges of preserving Appalachia's cultural heritage in the face of regional public health disparities. Anthony lives in Kentucky with his wife and daughter.
