Peter N. Funke

Peter N. Funke is Associate Professor of Politics in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies at the University of South Florida, Tampa. He received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and his Vordiplom from the Freie Universität Berlin. His research focuses on social movements & contentions politics, capitalism & class, media & technology. He is the editor of “The Great Refusal: Herbert Marcuse and Contemporary Social Movements” (Temple University Press 2017) and “The New Global Politics: Global Social Movements in the 21st Century (Routledge 2017).
