Henry C. Alphin Jr.

Henry C. Alphin Jr., MBA, MSHE is a strategic, inclusive leadership practitioner, executive dean and operations director, and subject matter expert on higher education economic development. Henry is called upon for strategic planning and execution, including defining new roles and developing and leading a strong team to execute on the vision of senior leadership.

Henry has been author and lead editor on multiple peer reviewed higher education publications, including books, book chapters, and journal articles. He is currently exploring higher education philosophy and economic development relating to Islamic professional education, economic and human development in Muslim societies, and Muslim student leadership and career development.

Henry serves as a higher education SME for public and private organizations, including Springer Publishing and IGI Global. Henry served on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Economic Development in Higher Education (JEDHE) and the Global Business and Economics Research Journal.

Henry holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Drexel's Bennett S. LeBow College of Business, a Master of Science in Higher Education (MSHE) from Drexel's School of Education, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the triple accredited (including AACSB) program at the Warwick Business School of Warwick University.
