Clement Kent

Clement Kent is a Senior Scientist at the Janelia Research Campus of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Clement's research focuses on the genomics, genetics, and physiology of insect behavior. In addition to his scientific work, Clement reaches out to gardeners, beekeepers, and grade school students by speaking and writing on native plants and gardening to help pollinators such as bees and butterflies. He is a past president of the Horticultural Society of Toronto and a 2011 Pollinator Advocate of the Year award recipient.
