Hi...
I'm Jackson Quigley. I'm a leading edge Baby Boomer, on the last lap of having a real job. I close banks...How's that for a laugh. Hey, I needed the insurance!
Little did I know, that when I wrote my fist book "JimmyDotCom: The Evolution of a Phan," I was taking the first step towards retirement. The book was about the effect of the Internet on Jimmy Buffett. That book was discovered by a big publisher, and they signed me to a book deal to write another book on Buffett. I was in the middle of writing "The Memoires of a Middle Aged Parrothead: A Jimmy Buffett Adventure," and that got put on hold.
Well, my "real job" is ending April 5, 2013, and the Publishing World is changing, and I'm jumping in with both feet. Here are my plans:
1) I'll be putting JDC (JimmyDotCom) back on the market soon. Please watch for more that.
2) I just finished "Jimmy Buffett FAQ: All That's Left To Know About The Mayor Of Margaritaville." It's scheduled to come out the end of this year. Again...Stay Tuned.
3) I'm going back to Self-Publishing (St. Somewhere Press), and I'm back to finishing "The Memoires of a Middle Aged Parrothead: A Jimmy Buffett Adventure." Look for that the first part of 2014.
