Henry Vega holds a Ph. D. in Public Policy from George Mason University and an M. Sc. in Agricultural & Applied Economics from Clemson University. A Fulbright scholar, he has conducted extensive policy research for organizations such as the U. S. Department of Agriculture, the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. His work focuses on international trade, transportation infrastructure, regional integration, and rural development. His research has appeared in journals including Transport, the Journal of Air Transport Management, and the International Journal of Transport Economics. Vega is also the co-editor, with Dr. Kenneth Button, of A Dictionary of Transport Analysis and Globalization and Transport.
