Guggenheim Foundation, 1947. 8vo. 204 pp. + a few plates. Preface by Hilla Rebay, two Forewords and an Introduction by Kandinsky, Appendix and Index at end. Black and white line illustrations in text. First American edition (and first edition in English), following its initial publication in 1926 in German as the ninth of fourteen Bauhaus Books, "Punkt und Linie zu Fläche".
