There are a few scattered underlinings and marginalia throughout. Presumed first edition, since John C Winston's first editions are No Additional Printings indicated. The number J-2-54 appears at the bottom of what would be the copyright page. In this case, there are no dates to be found anywhere in the book, and no copyright page. Approximately 80 woodcut illustrations, and frontispiece portrait.
