Front seam has cracked (but not split) and all pages tight in binding. He was well known to Anglo-Indians by the pen-name of Eha In a blue cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine and front board. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. There is some minor bumping to the top and tail of the spine. Spine is also faded. Internally, generally firmly bound, though front hinge is tender. Pages are generally bright and clean with some scattered light foxing, predominantly to the end papers. There is an ink inscription to the recto of front free end papers Very Good. book.
