Rickoff and Mark Bailey and published by D. Appleton and Company in 1889 and does not appear to be a First Edition. The book is 4 7/8" by 7 1/4" - has 214 pages - is in good condition - has the name of a previous owner and the date of 1891 neatly written in ink on the front loose end page . . . and on the back end pages a different "Thirty days has September . . .". It does appear to be one of very few editions still in existence. At the very least it is an interesting school book from a time long gone by. Interesting how much school books have changed.
