Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the international exchange rate mechanisms thatdetermine how one currency is valued against another. It begins with a simple definition of the subject and goes on to explore the complexities of the foreign exchange markets. The author argues that these markets function to balance the global supply and demand for currencies, reflecting the state of international trade and investment. The book then examines the effects of various economic factors on exchange rates, including interest rates, inflation, and government policies. It concludes by discussing the implications of exchange rate fluctuations for international trade and economic growth. The author provides a comprehensive overview of the theory of foreign exchange, making it an essential read for economists, policymakers, and anyone interested in understanding the global financial system. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
