New endsheets. Very good. The covers are bowed. There are several small light stains on the covers. There are numerous light scratches in the leather of the spine and covers. The longest scratch measures just under 3 inches long. The spine is heavily faded, and the edges of the covers are subtly faded. There is occasional foxing throughout the mildly browned pages. Some pages are more heavily foxed than others. The heaviest foxing is on the verso of the illustrated pages. The book is sturdy. Contents include Voyage to India, Cholera, Stag-Hunting Near Paris, M. Voelker's Chasse, Deer-Shooting in Hungary, and more.
