Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Foolscap8vo, v, 376, [12- Index] p. Contemporary brown full calf, five raised bands. Upper board detached, lacks the lettering pieces, lacks the title page (there are two front blanks), some foxing mainly to the index leaves otherwise a fair copy of a later edition.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Dust Jacket. OLD 040402 This leather bound edition is rough but bears the Signature of Samuel Rush 1810 on the front free endpaper. Hard to know but possible this was the 12th son of Dr. Benjamin Rush, 1795-1859. The leather boards are blackened on the spine and along the top and front edges of the boards and may well have been in a fire. Front board is detached but present and rear board is still attached though the leather is cracked at the hinges. Inside pages all appear present Some foxing but only a hint of some water.
