Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces heavily tanned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front.

Slight rubbing and wear to green decorative boards, especially top and bottom of spine but nothing significant, gilt illustrations to front board and spine are undamaged. Internally a few… signs of wear, looks like front end paper and half title have been torn out, front hinge is just starting to wear, no turned over page corners, apart from damage described a nice condition copy, just some light spotting at several points in the text.
