He helped write the screen play for the movie adaptation of Ian Fleming's "Dr. No", but Mankowitz is not credited on the screen at his own request. He wrote a number of well-received plays, five of which are printed in this Evans Brother's paperback Acting Edition. The book was copyright in 1956, but this is a later printed, undated, but circa 1970 - 1972.
